There are no territorial borders for the radio waves, that fact gives a unique opportunity to the amateur radio operators to spread the good will across the world. Every time when an amateur radio operator turns his ham radio on, he becomes an ambassador of his own country. In case of a natural disaster or an emergency, when the conventional means of communication are damaged, the amateur radio operators are these who will take the situation in their own hands.
